20 Cards in 20 Minutes - Gift Boxes

Hi Crafters,
today I have a super fun video on how to create 20 CARDS IN 20 MINUTES! Yes! I'm serious, it can be done and I made some awesome gift boxes to give away to friends and family! It's all about keeping things clean and simple and combining stamps you probably already have in your stash!

I used Catherine Pooler Inks. Any time I know I'm stamping a solid image (especially for the first time) her inks are a dream and they stamp like butter! Look at the photos to see the amazing coverage and I only stamped them ONCE! They are perfect inks for those who don't have a MISTI tool yet and want good ink coverage on solid stamps or for anyone looking for great inks. Remember, a LOVE TAP 2-3 times is all you need. Don't push hard on the inks!

These gift boxes from Gina K Designs are perfect for stuffing about 10 cards and envelopes into. If you embellish more, you probably will fit less into a box. Just add some washing tape for the perfect decoration and you're ready to head to the party!

Look at all those gorgeous colours! I love the fact that the solid flower stamp from Concord and 9th does all the colouring for me! Mix and match your sentiments to suit the person you're gifting the cards to.

  4. I love that you do this. I do this too. I figure if I have my supplies out, why not make 8 at a time. This keeps me in supply to create gift boxes.
JUSTINE....may I ask you why you do not use magnets in your Mistie? Just curious.

    1. I don't use card bases during most of my videos, so the paper lays flat. If it's in the corner, I don't bother using them. And when I want to go quickly, I don't want to deal with the magnet

  5. Justine - As always you amaze me.... these are great - so quick and easy. I don't have a Misti (but am thinking of getting one) especially now seeing how quick you made these. Thanks for sharing with us.

  6. Always enjoy your videos - and I'll bet you are a super-awesome teacher!

  7. I have my own "misti" that I made out of some plexi-glass scraps we have. I rarely used it, but this shows endless possibility of saving some time!
