Spellbinders Cuppa Coffee Cuppa Tea Blog Hop

11:00

Coffee or Tea? One of life's necessities either way! I'm a tea drinker so when I was asked to participate in the Spellbinders Coffee or Tea Hop, I new which set I would be featuring! I find tea and coffee themed supplies perfect for gift card holders - who doesn't love getting a gift certificate to their favourite coffee or tea shop!? However, I focused on a background technique that is one of my favourites.

Paper piecing, I find, is stressful to some people. I love it! I love sitting, drinking my tea, placing the pieces (the feeling of everything being filled when they're done satisfies my OCD like nobody's business LOL).

GIVEAWAY! To celebrate this release, Spellbinders is giving away a $50 gift certificate to one blog reader – selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes on Sunday, October 14th 11:59 pm EDT. The winner will be announced in the Spellbinders blog hop post the following Monday. Winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes.

I used the Tea Pot Dies and a couple dies from the Heart Latte set to complete this background. If you prefer coffee, check out the Coffee Brewing dies. I paper pieced using cotton candy and fog cardstock. I love these colours for a soft, pastel colour.

  24. Nice cards. Paper piecing doesn’t happen very often for me since enough time is hardly available to complete a project in one sitting. I like to drink both; coffee in the morning and tea the rest of the day. Have a nice day.
