Interactive Gift Card Slider feat. My Favorite Things

09:39

Today I'm over on the MFT YouTube Channel with a fun, interactive gift card holder. This card measures 6x6 due to the fact that I wanted to add the curtains to the stage but can easily be converted to a standard A2 card.

When you pull up the tab, it reveals the gift card and the lead singer from the Friendship Rocks Stamp set. I coloured the little ladies with Copic Markers. I just love the little pleats in their skirts. To do this, I drew lines of the darkest Copic marker where I though the pleats would be at their lowest point and blended out from there.

The spotlight was created using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink and the In the Spotlight stencil form MFT. You have to use a pigment based ink on darker cardstock in order for the colour to show up. A dye ink would just make the cardstock look a different shade of grey.

My Favorite Things is my favourite brand for scene building. They just have so many lovely stamps, stencils and dies to create scenery like this performance stage.
