Catherine Pooler meets Wow Embossing Powder Blog Hop

05:00

A quick card tutorial for everyone today! I am collaborating with Catherine Pooler and WOW embossing powders to create this fun card! I wanted to do something a little different and thought about adding powder to adhesive strips rather than stamping. The adhesive strips have quite a strong hold on them and worked really well to emboss different colours onto a card panel.

Prizes: Leave a comment on each of the posts for a chance to win!
  • Wow Embossing Powders are giving away 6 embossing powders of your choice plus a carrying case to store them in!
  • Catherine Pooler Designs is sponsoring 1 full set of Life of the Party Inks
  • Winners will be announced the week of July 2nd on the Wow Blog!

I used Vintage Peacock, Earthtone Blueberry and Oceanic (in this order) to make a fun ombre effect. Then I stamped the sentiment from Starlights Stamp set with Juniper Mist ink to finish off the card. It's something fun to try and you can create endless colour combinations with all the different colours of embossing powders WOW! has to offer!
