Catherine Pooler's Zen Garden Blog Hop: Zen Feather, Chevron Cheer and Ovals

09:00

Hi Crafters!
Today is the day you have been waiting for! The new upcoming release from Catherine Pooler! How exciting! Today, the hoppers are focussing on the Zen Feather and Chevron Cheer Stamps and you can hop along for a ton of inspiration! Now, everyone knows that I love Catherine's inks. They are so different than other ink pads! I am so excited about 8 new colours and I tried to use a bunch of them throughout the cards I created this week!

GIVEAWAY!!! Go through the hop and leave a nice comment on each blog for a chance to win one of TWO full sets of inks each day!!!

I love teaching techniques that everyone can do! This is a way to watercolour with some ink pads, acetate and no brushes! Anyone can do it!

For this card here, I added the water directly to the watercolor paper, added to the colour to the acetate and smooshed them together. The colours I used here are Polished, Rose Petals and Sugared Lavender.

This card here I added the water to the acetate to mix the colours and applied it to the paper. Two very different looks - simlilar to dry and wet watercolour!
