Stamp of Approval Love is in the Air Blog Hop

09:00

Hi Crafters,
Welcome to the Love is in the Air Stamp of Approval Blog Hop. The Stamp of Approval Collection is quarterly box of coordinating products by Catherine Pooler Designs that are sold exclusively together and will not be available for individual purchase for many months. Additionally with the collection, there is a TON of inspiration to help inspire you to create cards using this collection in the form of a PDF download as well as three days of blog hops with the SOA designers. There is a waitlist to sign up for so you get a shopping link earlier than the public. I strongly urge you to sign up as the collections sometimes sell out before being made available to the general public! (That's how awesome they are lol).

I am obsessed with world maps so I was very excited by the detailed The World Awaits stamp set in the collection. I could seriously see it being my next tattoo! That’s how much I love it. So I really wanted to show it off in a unique way and add some colour to black cardstock. Browsing through my stash, I came across some Kirarina Wink markers and decided to give them a try. I embossed the image in silver and coloured in the spaces in between using the markers. They created such a pretty look!

GIVEAWAY!!! One winner will be chosen at random each day from the comments of the blog hops (today is Day 1). You will have a chance to win the ENTIRE collection OR if you have purchased it already, a $100 gift certificate towards a future purchase. The winner will be announced January 10th on Catherine’s blog.

Since the above video featured more of a technique base with particular supplies, I wanted to create something easy, clean and simple with limited supplies that you can easily recreate. Therefore, using a simple Midnight ink pad, I inked up the Americas along with a suitcase from the Bon Voyage stamp set and simply added them to a white base and card panel
