MISTI Bulk Card Backgrounds

09:00

Hi Crafters,
Simon Says Stamp just recently released its One of a Kind new release and I was lucky enough to receive some of the new products to play with! I decided to create a quick and easy bulk tutorial on how to make these pretty clean and simple cards.

The Bouquet of Thanks Stamp Set( SSS ) was masked off using Inkadinkadoo Masking Paper( SSS ) and I left that completely white. Over top, I stamped different sentiments from the Big Greetings 1 Stamp Set( SSS ) in Rosie Cheeks Ink( SSS ) to create a beautiful, subtle background.

Just to make things a little bit more clean cut, I ran the panels I created through my die cutting machine using the My Favorite Things Inside and Out Stitched Rectangle Dies( SSS ). I find that the stitching makes a big difference to the final card. I hope you enjoyed today's simple tutorial.

  2. These turned out quite uniquely. Usually I'm not fond of a black and white image but stamping the sentiment as you did puts the card in a different category. The embellishment drops helped too.
