All About Turnabout Stamps!

Hi Crafters,
today I have a fun stamp and video to show you! These are Turnabout stamps by Concord and 9th. There are three of them available at the moment and they are so cool! Essentially, they are designed to work with a stamping tool (I use the MISTI). You mark the center of the stamp with a permanent marker on the back. Then you grab a 6x6 piece of paper and mark the center of the paper. When you place the cardstock in your Misti, you line up the centre point of the cardstock with the centre point of the stamp and you are ready to begin. You stamp normally in one colour, turn the cardstock a quarter turn and continue stamping four times around like clockwork. I have the video tutorial below to show you exactly what I mean.

I created these two background with the two Turnabout stamps that I own - Triangles and Oh, Hello. I stamped them using Turquoise Sea, Tomato Soup, Passionate Pink and Lemon Drop by Gina K. You can also do many other colour combinations, you can emboss some of the turns, create a monochromatic look on coloured cardstock and more!

I embellished the cards using some other supplies by Concord and 9th. The Heartstrings die cuts a perfect size heart for an A2 card and I added a sentiment using the Beautiful Words stamp set. For the Oh, Hello background card, I die cut using the Hello dies in white and black cardstock.

I store my Turnabout Stamps in Large Stamp Pockets by Avery Elle. I place the stamp inside, the instruction guide behind it and in the very back of the pocket. I keep a 6x6 card template with the center point already marked for easy reference so I don't have to find center points every time I pull out these stamps.

Here are some close ups of the backgrounds! They are just too fun and everything lines up so well! It takes a little bit of preparation but you can create endless backgrounds! I'm secretly hoping that Concord and 9th are planning on releasing more of these amazing stamps!
