Subtle Vellum Backgrounds + $25 The Ton Giveaway!

09:05

Hi Crafters,
today I have a pretty simple video on how to create this elegant card. I just adore background stamps - especially the ones from The Ton. You can make such elegant and beautiful cards in minutes. I created a video not long ago on 5 Ways to Use Background Stamps which really explores how versatile these stamps can be. A BIG THANKS to The Ton for sponsoring today's giveaway for a $25 gift certificate to the store!

For this particular card, I used the Morning Glory Cling Stamp for the background in black ink. For the sentiment rectangle I used stamps from The New Pretty and Wild Peonies. Honestly all the stamps from The Ton you can simply just stamp them in black and call it a day - they are that gorgeous! I have no affiliation with The Ton Stamps, this is my honest, true opinion

  12. Beautiful card, Justine! Adhering vellum is always a challenge - I thought the same thing about the clear foam, but was disappointed that you could still see it. Good thing we have other ways to camouflage it - love what you did with the Nuvo drops! I love using all kinds of stamps, I'm not really wedded to any particular kind. Thank you for your generosity this month and multiple chances to enter!

  65. Sophisticated, chic, elegant...as you can tell, I consider your card stunning! My stamp preferences run a wide range, depending on the audience I'm designing for: whimsical/cute for my niece and nephew through to 'somewhat' elegant for those I make for my mom to sell/give away at the Seniors' residence where she volunteers. One thing that is a constant: butterflies! LOVE butterfly images and one can't ever have too many of those, can they? *grin*
