12 Days of Christmas *Day 11* Gorgeous Layering Stamps

09:00

Hi Crafters,
welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas 2016 Day 11! I am featuring this gorgeous layering stamp from Altenew called Sketched Evergreen. I played around with it in different shades of green, but I went with a blue and silver colour in the end. Don't forget, if you're dying for more videos right away, you can refresh your memories with the 2015 and 2014 series or the other videos for the series that I have published so far in 2016

GIVEAWAY: $20 Altenew gift card up for grabs! Thanks so much Altenew for sponsoring today! You must comment on the video, not my blog to be entered!

I begin with the first layer of the tree and stamped it in the second darkest colour from the Blue shades ink pack. Then I stamped the second layer in the darkest colour. I made sure it was completely dry with a heat tool and stamped the third layer in versamark and embossed in silver. Lastly, I made a panel by embossing the sides silver and attached it, stamped the sentiments and was good to go!

  3. Hi Justine,
I love your card. I'm more of the traditional Christmas person. I will use green inks on my Christmas tree card and use either gray or gold glitter/ ,embossing powder.

  7. I just found you and binge watched your distress school videos while my mom was in surgery. I love the blue, but I probably would have tried in pinks. Love your videos

  8. Green and red are so tired and boring. Blue & silver is my favorite Xmas color combo. I actually can't stand this particular stamp, but you made it look gorgeous! So, I may have to change my opinion on this stamp.. lol!
