Hi Crafters,
today I am super excited to be participating in the Fall 2016 Release for The Ton. The Ton has 23 new stamps for their Fall 2016 Release (18 clear stamps, 5 rubber cling) which include the Christmas Poinsettia set - a mini 2x3 stamp set which will be included in all orders over $100 (before shipping and taxes).  All new release products (stamps, gilding and coordinating dies) are available now!

GIVEAWAY: Four $25 gift certificates will be given away to random commenters on all the hop participant blogs. So leave a comment below for the chance to win!

Now, most of you know that my crafty supplies are in a boat in the middle of the Atlantic, so I had to make do with very few supplies. I was super excited though to try out some new inks from The Ton to get me started and only a few supplies can create such amazing cards.

For this card, I stamped the pinecones from the Holiday Cones Stamp in a random pattern on the background. This is a layering 3-step stamp. The last layer I stamped in Versamark and covered it with copper embossing powder. I filled in the spaces with the berries to make it look more complete. I tied the card together with a sentiment stamped in the same brown ink as the pinecones.

You can really see the shine of the embossing powder in the photo above!

For my second card I wanted something very clean and elegant with lots of white space. This card is also really easy to duplicate for bulk cards at Christmas. The gold paper is adhesive backed which is very helpful and adding a touch of Wink of Stella to the Fresh Cut Poinsettias stamp is just the right touch!

You can really see the shine of the Wink of Stella in the photo above!

  23. Justine, your cards are gorgeous; both have sparked my festive spirit immensely! I'm especially captivated by the pinecones, as I have a collection of these gathered from special places we've visited! So glad you're still creating, even though the majority of your supplies are in transit! And in case I haven't done so: Welcome back to Canada!
