End of the Month Design Team Challenge Blog "Leap"

07:00

Hi Crafters,
we have something super fun in store for you today to celebrate the Leap Year. Now normally teams work nicely together but Miss Suzy decided to pin her two teams against each other for an epic hop featuring the stamps that are retiring!!  If you are coming from Christine's Blog you are in the right place or you are welcome to start here!

Giveaway: One Lucky Winner will win a set of cards made by the Design Team!! Winners will be announced March 6th!

The fun thing is that Suzy made us create something with stamps that we would normally not use. I rarely use "people" images and it was really hard for me to go out of my comfort zone and create something. So I decided to use them as backgrounds and subtle stamping on my cards so I could stick to my style.

Copic Colours:
E000, E00, E11, R20
V04, V06, V09
E55, E17, E15

There were the stamps I was given to create with:

Now, over on So Suzy's Blog you have the chance to vote for your favourite card by the Design Team so be sure to do that because one of us will win a set of cards too! This is the card I submitted over there!

Next up is Shannon's Blog, so go check out what she created!

  11. I like the black girls in the background for several reasons. I love the simplicity of the card with the crisp white and black and red. I love the sentiment as well as the variety of fonts...it is awesome. And I love the extra added bling as well as the stitching around the edge. Lots of simple little details but not too busy. Truly love it!
