Distressed Vintage Christmas Card

Hi Crafters!
Today I have a special card to share with you and I am entering it into the Christmas Card Challenge.  I always find Christmas sneaks up on  me every year so I am trying to start now to avoid the rush! This week over at Christmas Card Challenges (#40) the theme is everything goes. I really had fun creating this card. I decided to just go for it and experiment with the different mediums I have in my stash. Here it is:

As many of you know, I am on the Jessicalynnoriginal Design Team for a while. This poinsettia stamp that I used is from the Celebrate the Season with Santa stamp set. This is a really cute set for Christmas cards and adding a special something to your Christmas baking gifts :) If you have any questions on how I created this card, please comment below...or you know if you like it you could also leave some love ;)

Here is a closer look at the poinsettia - I just love the shading in the flower (I used Copic and Shinhan alcohol markers) and topped it with come Distress Glitter and combined with some gold sequins and pearl pins (retired) and metal accents.

  1. I am excited about your card ideas. It would be so much fun crafting. Would love to add them on my Pinterest board. Despite the numerous digital cards, I may say I am still a fan of handmade Christmas cards . God bless you in all you do!
