Yes, I realize it's spring, but you can never have enough Xmas Cards

Hello everyone,
I'm taking an online card class called Clean and Simple Card Class 3 and I'm excited to share one of my creations with you today.

Now, normally this would be a one layer card mbut as you can see I have a white frame around it because of dirty fingers! So make sure your fingers are clean when attempting this. Mask off a border around your card base using masking tape (like 3M) or washi tape. Mask off a rectangle in the centre using the tape also. Take a sponge and sponge crystal blue onto the card base that is not masked off (should look like a picture frame). Then stamp the trees using slate ink and the snowflakes using silver ink. I used two different snow flakes from two stamp sets that I can't remember the name of. I took a white gel pen and made some snow dots. Then I unmasked the card. I embossed the snowflake using Versamark ink and added Tim Holtz rock candy glitter. and Stamped the sentiment in crystal blue ink. Remember to let everything dry and not have dirty fingers - those were my downfall!

Cardstock: White Daisy
Stamps: Always Grateful,  Single Snowflake (just $2.95!) Scandinavian Wishes (retired sentiment),
Inks: Crystal Blue, Slate and Silver
Tools: Sponge, Masking Tape or Washi Tape, White Gel Pen
Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Glitter (this stuff is awesome! The grains of glitter are big so they don't make a mess)
