My favourite gift I gave this year :) It's safe to show you now!

Hi world :)
I wanted to share with everyone the Christmas present I made for my significant other this holiday season.  Laynes really loved it.  I was really trying to think of a meaningful gift that allowed us to somehow spend more quality time together. So...this is it!

I made a 3D wallet full of the 12 dates of Christmas!

When you open it, there is a pocket with the explanation of one date per month in 2014.

Fully opened, it looks like this

This is an awesome mini album, the sides flip out, you can easily add photos.  I love the middle! I used some of the images from our awesome Cricut cartridges! The frames around the date ideas are from Artbooking and I used Cricut Craft room to size them to exactly what I needed.

Here it is all spread out!

Date idea: actually a night "in" his favourite meal and a movie to rent on the Apple TV.

Love that reindeer - so elegant!

More date ideas - geocaching and Starbucks for Frappacinos in July!

Love these little pockets where the dates are hiding!

The sides flip back in to make a cute wallet

The letter - I couldn't help but add a little shimmer trim which is the perfect embellishment when you need something to lay flat!

Official Recipe:
Paper: Sparkle and Shine (retired), various CTMH cardstock: slate, ruby, white daisy
Embellishments: Red Sparkles, small flourishes
Stamps: Polka dot alphabet (surprisingly not a lot of stamping going on here)
Tools: Score board, paper trimmer, tweezers for those pesky sparkles, Cricut machine
