Alcohol Based Markers - New!

13:29

Hello again!

I wanted to share with you one of the most exciting new things about CTMH.  Our affordable alcohol based markers take stamping and colouring to a whole new level.  For just $5.25 you get the coordinating marker that coordinates with our cardstock, reinker, and dye based and pigment based ink pads along with a shade marker that is either lighter or darker.  Yes, you are understanding correctly that there are 2 markers for $5.25!

Our markers are not like Copic markers and are like Copics.  Ours are disposable and don't colour in the exact same way as copics however, like copics, they are alcohol based, are double sided with two different nibs and are a very high quality.

So if you are new to colouring with alcohol based or are just an expert- it doesn't matter! You can create in depth images using our markers!  All 40 colours (80 markers) will be available throughout the month of August.  Some are available now!

Which ones should you get to start?
My suggestion is to pick the stamped images you want to colour, decide which colours you want to use and go from there!

What happens when they run out?
First of all, it is important to store them horizontally.  After they run out of ink, they are meant to be thrown away.  For the price they cost, they are disposable unlike Copic markers.

Do the markers fit in the marker storage tower?
Yes! Even though we have changed the markers - they still fit!

Does the ink bleed through?
Yes, like all alcohol based markers, the ink will bleed through paper.  Protect your work surface!

What ink do I stamp with in order for there to be "no bleeding"?
Staz-on ink works, but I do recommend the ink used with copics called momento - tuxedo black.

Do I have to buy special paper or can I use CTMH cardstock?
The markers work fine with our cardstock.  Keep in mind that the colour of the cardstock will change the shade of ink.  Ex. if you colour on white it remains its true colour, but if you colour on green, it won't look the same.

Where do I buy these markers?
